Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism, 

a charitable foundation

...invites proposals in education, prevention, and research on alcohol and other drug use disorders.

GBCoA's mission is to assist in increasing public understanding of these disorders, their nature, treatment and prevention. 

GBCoA supports, encourages, and endorses grantees who have creative, innovative programs which meet expressed need, that encompass groups of people,

and can measure the results of their programs. 

GBCoA awards grants to non-profits in Greater Boston (within 128) ranging from $2,500 to $7,500. 

GBCoA makes donations where the funding will make

a meaningful contribution to the accomplishment

of the goals of the organization.
